Little Combe Tor sits above the Colly Brook just to the east of Peter Tavy. It is one of those woodland tors that is difficult to get a clear photograph of. The area is well worth a visit however. There are numerous small waterfalls on the stream itself and some nearby tors, including Great Combe Tor.
I visited on a drizzly day in May. It was a good time to visit this part of the moor, particularly with the blubells in bloom. Photography-wise the scene was a little messy compositionally, but easier to capture from a contrast perpective.
I parked in the small carpark just under Smeardon Down, and walked down the path from the top of the Combe.
