Little Gnats Head is a small tor near Plym Head in southern Dartmoor. It is unremarkable in itself but offers great views west down the Plym itself.
It is relatively easy to reach but does require a bit of a walk. I approached on a circular walk from Fox Tor, via Crane Hill and Great Gnats Head. An easier approach would be from Ditsworthy Warren and by crossing at Plym Ford. The plus side of having to trek a little to get here is that it does offer a good sense of remoteness.
It is on the northern boundary of the relativelty featureless southern dartmoor.
